Frailty is a concept poorly understood among those with ID. Trinity College Dublin & Erasmus MC Intl join forces to tackle the issue. Significant collaboration commences between 2 large longitudinal studies IDS-TILDA & HA-ID to build greater understanding & create a validated frailty index.⭐️

Prof Mary McCarron joined IASLT today to discuss the the determinants of health & well being for older adults with an #Intellectual #Disability with evidence from IDS-TILDA. Trinity Centre for Ageing & ID will provide a further 4 training sessions over the next month focusing on #Ageing & #Dementia .
