Re: Damian Lillard: A Grade 1 Achilles strain is considered mild but can be a problematic injury that lingers. Average time lost for in-season nondescript Achilles strains is 10 days (4.2 games).

Re: Joel Embiid: I have three other cases of Bell's Palsy in NBA players including Trenton Hassell and Zach Randolph. Time lost was usually linked to a viral infection that resulted in the condition.

I have a ton of respect for Zion being honest and forthcoming with his emotions regarding the injury. Processing and the mental side of rehab and recovery is often overlooked.

Star Play% was much higher in the first ~50 games of the season and then reverted to the norm as injuries began to mount.

Re: Zion Williamson: This season, hamstring strains have resulted in an average time lost of ~13 days. However, the term 're-evaluated in two weeks' is worrisome. Re-evaluated does not mean return to play.
