President Whitten and Provost Shrivastav released their first public statement about the Gaza encampment after four days.
Student leaders on campus denounced the letter, saying many of its claims are false and that administration ignores student concerns.

BREAKING: About 50 IUPD and Indiana State Police officers forcefully detained several peaceful protesters and took down the encampment at Dunn Meadow.

In addition to his brave actions yesterday standing up to the police riot against the Dunn Meadow Encampment, Ben has been an incredible supporter of our union and a longtime advocate for academic freedom at IU. His ban from campus is a political stunt.
