I’m a big fan of scary books.
If Stephen King is the master of dark fantasy, Sarah Kendzior is the master of dark reality. Her work has been the only thing that has helped me navigate/make sense of today’s political landscape.
Recommendation: Buy her books before they’re banned

And they did not care, because impunity is the sadist's version of the American Dream (as Sarah Kendzior puts it all too perfectly in the book). Highest recommendation even when it hadn't just come out in paperback!

I cant get this out of my head.

3 years of watching this crystallize, our most awful suspicions confirmed, one painful inch at a time.

Here we are.

They Knew in paperback is a must have for every household. We must keep books in print or they could erase our true history.

Human Mom to the Wolf Pack Thanks! And yes I agree. A number of my sources for THEY KNEW are paperbacks or hardcovers of vital out of print books, some of which were targets of censorship at their time of publication. I have a little library of old banned books and I’m glad it’s not digital.

The biggest dividing line in this struggle is not age or ethnic background. It’s whether when you see a Palestinian child in pain, you feel like you are looking at your own child, or at any child you’ve loved and protected. And your heart breaks.

Or whether you see Palestinian

Yes, yes, yes. It’s been horrifying to learn who they are. The whole “I’m fine with them harming *those* children so long as they don’t harm these better, whiter children” contingent.

“If you cannot recognize the humanity of a child, you have lost your own. If you cannot respect the fundamental innocence of a child, then you are the guilty one.”

Perfect.

I feel these words from Sarah Kendzior are what I've been so desperately trying to express.

Really working to keep young folks from turning out to vote Democrat while signing a law that’ll be challenged in the courts and has a semi-decent shot at being struck down, all the while without presenting adequate evidence and not holding Silicon Valley to the same standard!

Something that doesn’t seem to be making its way into coverage of these university protests: they are voicing what is the overwhelming majority American opinion

It’s now a media circus, which will attract the idiot brigade. But this is not fringe stuff.

Leaving the Ukraine vote to fly home to Rhode Island.  At last, at last, the bill is done — and includes my REPO law! Some days are good days.

Remember the stories about Donald Trump paying someone to do his schoolwork while he was a 'student' at Wharton?

With Donald's obvious inability to sit still for extended periods...or stay awake, coupled with the many examples of him publicly displaying just how f*cking stupid
