European Parliament backs up mandatory Due Diligence

industriAll Europe welcomes the news of an imminent EU directive on due diligence! We want this future directive to deliver concrete changes for workers and trade unions across the globe 🌎…

I’m in Strasbourg where the European Parliament voted fiscal rules. This vote puts tax justice urgently on top of agenda for EU elections.
Governments have two options:
1.cut investments in schools, hospitals and just transition
Or 2. they increase tax revenues on wealthiest

We stand together with Ukrainian trade unions fighting for peace, socially just reconstruction process, full accession in EU and for protection of workers rights.
