Earlier this week #UConnSPP Professor/ UConn’s ARMS Center Director Kerri Raissian testified in support of HB 5317 @ the CT General Assembly. The bill would include a requirement for a study of the effectiveness of community gun violence programs that are funded by state dollars.
Recently, Dr. Miguel A. Cardona called on school & district administrators to talk w/ parents and guardians about safe firearm storage practices. Kerri Raissian & I of UConn’s ARMS Center put together secure storage info for families (theconversation.com). #UConn
