With all the attention on Columbia students right now, you'd think they were murdering 300+ people and leaving them in a mass grave near a hospital they bombed.

They didn't. But Israel did.

Columbia should divest.

Calling in police enforcement on nonviolent demonstrations of young students on campus is an escalatory, reckless, and dangerous act.

It represents a heinous failure of leadership that puts people’s lives at risk. I condemn it in the strongest possible terms.

Hochul didn't do any of this when pro-Palestine protesters at Columbia were sprayed with Skunk that left some hospitalized. When I asked if she planned to visit students, she said she had none at the time. If she ever did visit Columbia, Hochul did not publicize it like this

I’m deeply disappointed by the housing deal orchestrated by Governor Kathy Hochul and the real estate industry. It’s a slap in the face to renters across the state who have organized and fought for years for the rights and protections that we deserve.

Students protesting at Columbia University for Palestinian life have my full support. I unequivocally condemn the vile antisemitic incidents from OUTSIDE perpetrators we’ve seen in the area. I reject attempts to use those incidents to smear the broader student movement. Free Palestine.

NYC needs more housing supply but no one ever explains how many units you need to actually 'fix' the problem of high rents. YIMBYs are aggressively analytic until you ask for an actual threshold for what would make a median one-bedroom apartment in NYC rent for less than $2,000.

Nothing but solidarity with the students at Columbia and the growing wave of students at colleges and universities across the country who are occupying space in the name of peace. Free Palestine.

While Mayor Adams has taken all the heat for proposed cuts to 3K, it's worth noting that Governor Hochul has slashed funding for child care worker wage supplements in the state budget.
