Wow! What a day at JTF! We had the 3rd grade potato Olympics (pics to come), Kindergarten Roundup (pics to come), and family Picnic at the Pond. A parent said, “This is chaos but organized chaos. So much fun!”

Today we got to celebrate all of our students who met their stretch goal on iReady. They enjoyed Cotton Candy thanks to PTO, Mrs. Parker, and Mrs. Lea.

Our Future Frogs are in for some special treats at Kindergarten Roundup this week. (There might even be candy!) Don’t miss it!

We rounded out Teacher Appreciation Week by delivering special circus snacks and Sonic drinks to all of our staff. We couldn’t do it any other way than dressed as clowns! Thank you so much to our PTO for making this happen in the midst of field day.

What an amazing week we’ve had! For field day, we played kickball, competed in relays, enjoyed some water games, bounced in bounce houses, danced with DJ Cat, played the drums, hula hooped, blew bubbles, enjoyed popsicles, and more!

It’s a circus around here, and it’s so much fun! Thank you to our PTO for providing the “Pick a Duck” game with prizes for all of our staff and to Bel-Aire’s PTO president, Samantha Zimmerman, for letting us borrow your Photo Booth. It brought some extra joy to our day.

Days 2 and 3 of Teacher Appreciation Week were amazing. Thank you to our PTO for feeding us yesterday, and thank you to Mr. Moore and Mr. Joe for grilling hamburgers and dogs today.

Waiting for lunch doesn’t have to be boring. Mrs. Lucas makes it fun and a little silly!

Rogers Group generously donated $500 to be used to celebrate the end of TCAP. Our third graders used their share of the funds for a pizza party! Thank you so so much, Rogers Group!

Fourth and fifth grade will celebrate soon.

Our PTO is amazing! They started off Teacher Appreciation Week with a bang! The entire week will be circus themed with treats for the staff each day.

Today is Mr. Duane’s birthday. His Santa shenanigans continue. Not pictured are Mrs. Kayla & Mrs. Donna who placed the Santas (yes, more the one) in the ladies’ restroom to scare everyone to death, including a student’s grandmother. Mrs. Amanda took the matter into her own hands.

Our first graders like to read in the mornings when they wait for class to start. Smart cookies!

This week our third graders tried honeysuckle! Some were experts, and some had no idea you could taste the nectar!
