Important intervention by Conservative MPs and Peers on the smartphone ban in schools. Doorstep response and mounting empirical evidence of harms is fuelling growing Westminster momentum. Expecting more action on this as summer approaches.

Yesterday a music teacher told me his students from ten years ago learned much faster than they do today, and speculates it is a smartphone effect. Kids can't memorize and can't focus like before.
