Good observation by Matt Ridley (additionally, vaccinating low-risk children to protect adults is ethically unjustifiable):

'Preventing transmission was the excuse used for vaccinating children, yet when that excuse evaporated, the policy continued.'

Molly Kingsley jemima lewis We need to be honest with parents about the impact of using screens, Molly.
1 study found at 3yrs, for EVERY MINUTE of screen time children “heard 6.6 fewer adult words & made 4.9 fewer vocalisations”.
The average screen time at 3yrs is almost 3 hrs a day so the impact is huge.

Matt Ridley Pfizer CEO Bourla was 'excited' to place risk on near-zero-risk children, using them as a 'tool' to reduce risk to adults.

The UK government responded by shutting down its own ethics committee when it challenged the vaccination of children. More here:

Pfizer has admitted they were never even asked to make their jab prevent Covid transmission.
Yet a raft of draconian measures were based on the idea that people who’d had the jab were good citizens who couldn’t give Covid to anyone else.
Isn’t that fraudulent Miss-selling to…

The evidence is right in front of our eyes. How long are we going to wait to regulate? UK Prime Minister
We need a sociatal and regulatory change.
The tech industry has been making 💰💰💰at the expense of children’s physical and mental health for too long

Parents of young children & anyone working in Early Years should read this study by Mary Brushe, PhD
We need to have a real discussion about this, instead of simply telling parents 'not all screens are bad'.

Spot on from Simon Kelner
“Parents of the future will ask: what took you so long? The evidence of psychological & medical harm, of cyber bullying, addiction and access to inappropriate content, is already strong enough to demand intervention…”

Important intervention by Conservative MPs and Peers on the smartphone ban in schools. Doorstep response and mounting empirical evidence of harms is fuelling growing Westminster momentum. Expecting more action on this as summer approaches.

Yesterday a music teacher told me his students from ten years ago learned much faster than they do today, and speculates it is a smartphone effect. Kids can't memorize and can't focus like before.

Have any other teachers/instructors noticed this change?
