I had the absolute privilege of being in the room with spellbound children this morning as Jasmine Gardosi spoke about her career and performed two poems Arthur Terry School. I have been thinking all day about the beautiful image at the centre of the second one, ‘Begin Again’:

Not enough people are talking about Birmingham having 100% of its arts funding axed by 2026.

In two years the UK’s second city will contribute NOTHING towards its arts.
