Smoky again Thursday. While likely a bit less than today, low air quality is still an issue. Smoke will continue off and on at varying levels into Friday and we may not truly kick it until this weekend. #fox61

[4 PM] Thursday's bout of smoke will be mainly constrained south of the I-90 corridor. Here's a snapshot of what you can expect for near surface smoke (between the surface and 26ft) around 11am tomorrow.

[6 AM] The red sunrise this morning is attributed to wildfire smoke overspreading New England from Quebec. Sensitive groups should avoid prolonged outdoor activity today, as this smoke WILL reach the surface. Here is one model's idea of near-surface smoke concentrations
