I need to acknowledge our director of grad studies Gregory Samanez-Larkin for treating all students—current, past, accepted, & rejected—with the kindness that academia can so sadly lack. He’s going viral on Reddit for his thoughtful rejection letters, & I hope other programs follow suit.

Class is always more fun Museum of Life and Science! Our Bass Connections at Duke group designing a museum intervention to broaden science identities for kids had a great time trying out some of our methods today with families! Let’s do more science Tamar Kushnir!
