The second presentation by Dr Melody Jombe Exeter Law School looks at the causes of #financialdistress in South Africa.

The first presentation from the 'home team' Royal Holloway Law and Criminology & affiliates includes a presentation on the #insolvencybot delivered by Marton Ribary and by Thomas Wood Fast Data Science. Myself, Miklos Orban and Prof Paul Krause also contributed to this research.

After a short break, at the #5thsymposium we have two presentations on investigating the causes and preventing #financialdistress . This panel is chaired by Prof Adrian Walters.

It was a real pleasure to chair the fourth panel of the #5thsymposium on personal bankruptcy with Prof Clement Marumoagae and Dr Matsietso Matasane University of Witwatersrand, Prof Rosa Rojas Vértiz and Dr Phemelo Magau University of Pretoria - interesting comparative perspectives from Americas and Africa!

It's really amazing to see a room so full of people interested in #insolvency and #restructuring matters at the #5thsymposium at Royal Holloway Royal Holloway Law and Criminology. Great discussions and ideas! And this is just day one of three!
