Both lanes Eastbound on the approaching Hermiston Gait due to a one car collision.

Police are on scene and traffic can pass using the hard shoulder but already we're seeing tailbacks towards J2.

This is absolutely brilliant, huge congratulations to this fantastic wee school in my constituency. Unfortunately as a Minister I can no longer raise parliament motions to congratulate them in parliament, but I certainly can do here. 👏👏👏👏

Thanks Jim Fairlie MSP SNP for making the time to discuss wwfscotland 🌍's Vision for Agriculture and how, by collaborating with farmers & supporting the adoption of nature-friendly practices, Scotland's farms can become more resilient and profitable as our climate continues to change

Just counted about 5 different fields, got over 50 curlew. Judging by what I am seeing both on the ground and in the air and the overall noise they are making this year I am convinced our curlew numbers are increasing. Let’s hope I am right and if so, this trend continues.

New criteria for agricultural support will help farmers and crofters meet more of our food needs sustainably.

From 2025 a calving interval of 410 days will be added to the Scottish Suckler Beef Support Scheme to make beef production more efficient.

I may not be in a lambing shed anymore but my absolute sympathies go to all those hardy souls bearing the brunt of this hellish weather. Hope this from Kelvin gives you half a wee chuckle. Thoughts are with you if you’re lambing out just now.

It was a busy Ministerial day yesterday. Went to Upper Nesbit farm with Sheila Voas and NFU Scotland to meet Robert Neil and launch the consultation in cattle EID. Vital we get farmer input to the discussion. Also went to Bavelaw Estate to see some amazing AECS results. 🙏 to all
