Bet 7 horses at Punchestown. Happily, Chapeau du Soleil was one of them (along with Credo & The Very Man). Unbelievably just in front for the meeting.

Bet a further 9 in France and even more happily Joue Contre Joue & Super Quartz were among them.

Just discovered there is a Police Commissioner election in my area. Not been an ounce of canvassing & never heard of the four candidates who appear to be affiliated to the 4 main parties here.

I’d prefer if they were all at least nominally independents anyway.

Solness scraped some place money but gave back Tuesday’s profits. Sadly, bet a few fallers & other unfortunate happenings.

Dieppe was poor to small money. Funny track, you often see fair horses beaten quickly there. Looks a normal enough track but plenty hate it.

The winner ran last in the 2mile Brierly Chase on Tuesday. Went off $40 on the TAB.

First big hurdle race of the Aussie season goes to Luca Remondet on Chains of Honour. Luca was riding around the tracks of central France for Emmanuel Clayeux until a couple of years ago.

Btw, the horse behind is ex-Rouget group horse off the flat Port Guillaume.
