Thank you Cindy and Victoria - and all Real Writers Circle - for an evening of words and wonder in Brighton last night! And to Samuel Burr and Tanya Byrne Updates (She/Her) for sharing their stories. 💚📚
They’re here! #MaybePerhapsPossibly
My unorthodox love story. Out 20 June. Please pre-order if you’d like to. Too self-conscious for an unboxing video so I made a shrine to Addie and Sol. Thank you The Borough Press for this stunning cover. 💙🐚🐙
I love books that place their characters in the world that isn’t human, as well as the world that is. Books where nature is more than a backdrop. Here are ten that inspired me. 💙🐚🪸 #MaybePerhapsPossibly

Love of birds given to me by my father. He’s 90 and still birdwatching.
Who doesn’t love a puffin? 💙🤍
Here’s Anna Burnett narrating my new novel - #MaybePerhapsPossibly - with a voice that perfectly matches everything about the story. 💙
I’m so looking forward to speaking at this! Come and join me as I talk about the part nature plays in my slightly unconventional love story - #MaybePerhapsPossibly 🐚🪶🦢
The northern lights, husky-sledding, skidoos… I went to Tromso, and it inspired my third novel.

A couple of months until #MaybePerhapsPossibly - my wild and watery love story - comes out on 20 June. I wrote a list for Bookshop.org - 10 books I love which speak in diverse and wonderful ways of the natural world. Every one, a gem.

I wrote this book in memory of my beloved mother, who never saw me become an author. She was joy personified. In #AllMyMothers , I wanted to explore the myriad ways we can love and mother and to celebrate the many different people who make us who we are.
Tough day for many, for different reasons. I reflect on those who don’t have their mothers around, and those with aching arms.
Recommending this beautiful book; it’s about strained relationships, powerful mother figures, grief and coming of age. Stunning Joanna Glen
Reasons I love my shop:
I have one lovely author who brings regular cake and cats - thanks Ericka Waller!
And now an equally lovely author bringing daffodils to brighten up our day - thank you Joanna Glen 🫶🫶
