A male was arrested for possession of illegal substances ( 27 crystal meth, 5 mandrax & 5 rock at
Clerk Str, Protea South by #JMPD TRU officers

This was after the officers saw 2xmales exchanging something on the rd. They approached them & 1 male was found in possession of drugs

#JMPD TRU officers were patrolling along Pixley Ka Seme & Bree str in JHB. The officers saw suspicious looking males, approached & requested to search them. Whilst searching them, the officers recovered illegal substances in their possession (29x pkts crystal meth drugs).

1x male arrested for possession of a hijacked vehicle at Simmonds & Loveday Street in JHB.

This was after the officers saw him driving recklessly. They tried to stop him, and he fled facing oncoming traffic. A chase ensued, he surrendered & confessed that he hijacked the vehicle

#JMPD TRU received a complaint of a backup in Vlakfontein. On arrival at the location, they found an off duty TRU officer with the community. It was discovered that they had recovered a hijacked Nissan NP200, illegal firearms, magazines & ammo. 2x male suspects were arrested

7x motorists arrested for driving over the speed limit by JMPD High-Speed Unit at Uranium & Bushwillow rd in Fourways.

The highest was a motorist that was caught driving at a speed of 123km/h in a 60km zone.

Suspects detained in Douglasdale SAPS.

The safety of residents & visitors always remains a priority. #JMPD #RegionG Operations officers came across a stationary vehicle. When they stopped to investigate, they found a lady alone in a car with a flat tyre, & officers ensured that they assisted in changing the flat tyre.

A Silver Ford Abiente B-Max vehicle was recovered by #JMPD TRU officers at 5th Street in Alexandra.

09x motorists arrested for driving over the speed limit by JMPD High-Speed Unit at N1 South between Grasmere & Eikenhof.

The highest was a motorist that was caught driving at a speed of 184km/h in a 120km zone.

Suspects detained in Mondeor and SAPS.

#JMPD TRU officers arrested 2x males for possession of unlicensed firearm,
possession of stolen motor vehicle & Fraud at Main & Von Weilligh str in JHB. This was after the officers received a lookout for a stolen vehicle Np200 escorted by a white Isuzu with false registration.
