What a sad week w/the passing of Richie Voke. I got to know Richie when I was at Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston Chelsea & able to watch and learn from his quiet but effective leadership style. We couldn’t have built that club w/out his active involvement & deep roots in the Chelsea community.

All successful re-entry programs share 2 things: collaborative communities built upon trust & respect, and changing the perception of people emerging from the justice system. Many great people and organizations working hard to create successful pathways for these individuals.

Grateful for Pats Fdtn partnership with MA State Police to donate hundreds of diapers & wipes to teen moms served by My Brother’s Table in Lynn. They do amazing work to help those in need in our community.

In days that have been so dark for the Jewish people…Hannukah, The Festival of Lights, cannot come at a better time. And as we light the first candle tonight, we give thanks for the light of hope, love and peace, and the unity it brings. Happy Hannukah to all 🕎
