I teach pre-k right now. And one of the most important lessons we are always learning is responsibility FOR OURSELVES.
Here’s the thing. We cannot be responsible for other people.
We can be responsible TO them. For how we behave toward them.+

Loving people is allowing them to take responsibility for themselves.
Loving people is drawing a boundary around your own responsibility toward them, letting them be fully human.
Loving people is truth telling & consequences, with grace but never deflection or DARVO.
