ESU SCHOOLS MACE DEBATING COMPETITION REGIONAL WINNERS
Many congratulations to our debating team, Hridaya, Atharv & Adya who are this year's East of England regional champions! The competition is the oldest & largest schools debating contest in England & Wales.

Y12 Geographers from KingEdwardVIGrammar have had an excellent fieldwork day on Mersea Island, exploring defences, landforms & land uses at two contrasting sites & to learn about a wide variety of data collection techniques. We're looking forward to seeing their NEA choices next.

The last day of our KingEdwardVIGrammar fieldtrip involved examination of Sandown coastal defences then a proper exploration of the Dinosaur Isle museum with the wonderful staff on hand including Dr Martin Munt.

Day 2 of the KingEdwardVIGrammar Geology fieldtrip...a helpful talk on local geology by Martin at the Dino Isle museum, then a really fantastic fieldwork afternoon with Dr Tony Butcher of SEGG, University of Portsmouth who guided us through the excellent sequence at Yaverland. Thank you both!
