It’s Opening Day in Section 9 🥎⚾️

Section II sent four boys' basketball teams to the state final four in Glens Falls and all 4 teams captured state championships: Green Tech (Class AAA), Glens Falls (Class A), Stillwater (Class B) & North Warren (Class D). It marks the 1st time ever the area had 4 state champs.

Green Tech is the first Section II team to captured a Class AAA title (it previously was contested in 1978 and 1979 prior to returning this season). It the Eagles second state championship, the first coming in 2014.
