Over the past 6 months, over 28 of our staff & volunteers have been killed.
More than simply numbers, they were people with hopes and dreams.
They were sons & daughters, moms & dads, brothers & sisters. They were colleagues, neighbors, & friends IFRC. youtu.be/KJs-rtY7eVc

I love this story of our volunteers at the Red Crescent KZ. Their approach to immunizations takes on a colorful, lively, and fun dimension as volunteers do their best to entertain potentially reluctant children and keep them safe from measles outbreaks. ifrc.org/article/world-…

In Myanmar, Red Cross volunteers are helping people in need. When people were recently displaced in Mawlamyaing, Myanmar Red Cross teams provided rice and hygiene items to offer comfort. These small actions make a difference every day.

I love this story of Turkish carpenter Ökkeş İnce whose workshop was severely damaged due to the massive 2023 earthquakes that shook Türkiye and Syria. Thanks to Türk Kızılay International and IFRC he was able to repair his workshop, revive his business & hire workers.

If you're looking for a feel-good story: Diseases can spread quickly, especially when left undetected. But communities can stop epidemics by working together. And that's just what Sierra Leone Red Cross Society volunteer Momoh did.

At @IFRC, we thank staff & volunteers like Momoh!
