⚡️A russian drone strike on Nikopol resulted in a car fire and three people were injured. Volunteers from the Nikopol Emergency Response Team of the URSC helped evacuate the victims,provided first aid and took them to a medical facility in the city.

⚡️Yesterday, as a result of another russian shelling of Dnipro, residential buildings in the city's private sector were damaged. 12 people were injured, including one teenager. Our volunteers arrived at the scene to provide the necessary assistance to the victims.

Over the past week, teams of Ukrainian Red Cross volunteers and staff mobilized to support people in need. After attacks in Kharkiv, teams helped those who need it most by providing first aid, food, water, phone-charging points and heating points.

📦In Sumy Oblast, the Ukrainian Red Cross continues to support residents of the 5-km border zone: 222 families received food and hygiene kits and pillows.
Between January and March 2024, humanitarian aid was delivered to 34 settlements, 4250 people received assistance.

⚡️Another russian shelling in Poltava region damaged residential buildings and a two-storey dormitory. According to the Poltava regional organisation, 16 people were injured, including 4 children. Our volunteers provided first aid and psychological support at the scene of the hit

📦Despite the constant shelling, the Ukrainian Red Cross team continues to work in Kherson - last week they delivered more than 4,200 food parcels from World Food Programme to people with disabilities and single people aged 60+. People's gratitude inspires and motivates to do more good deeds.

⚡ Zaporizhzhia. Another Russian shelling hit a local business. 3 civilians were killed and 8 people were wounded. An emergency response team of the URCS in Zaporizhzhia Oblast promptly arrived at the scene of the hit. Volunteers took three of the victims to the city hospital.

🚩The Zaporizhzhia regional organisation of the URCS handed over humanitarian aid to the city's institutions to support vulnerable people as part of the Shelter project: 5 generators of 15 kW, 1 67 kW generator, 7 microwave ovens, 3 washing machines with a dryer, 6 diesel heaters

⚡️Kharkiv has been hit by a russian attack. An educational institution and residential buildings were damaged. According to the Kharkiv RMA, 1 person was killed and 3 others sustained injuries of varying severity. Our volunteers provided first aid and set up a support point.

📦About 20,000 food parcels from the World Food Programme were distributed by volunteers of the URCS to Kherson residents in March. The humanitarian aid was given to people who remain in their city under constant shelling, the most vulnerable categories: pensioners and people with disabilities.

⚡️In Kharkiv, volunteers of the Emergency Response Team conducted a survey of the buildings affected by the attack. They helped evacuate the victims from the upper floors of residential buildings and provided first aid. The number of people injured in the shelling is currently 18

⚡️Mykolaiv. Kharkiv. Peaceful Ukrainian cities have been attacked by russia again. So far, 8 people have been injured in Mykolaiv and 16 in Kharkiv. Volunteers of the emergency response team in Mykolaiv region provided first aid and transported 4 victims to hospitals in the city

🚩The Ukrainian Red Cross, as an active member of the Alliance of Ukrainian Civil Society Organisations, facilitated the organisation and opening of the conference 'Responding at the local level - the unique Ukrainian experience', which took place in Brussels on 20 March.
