Woodland management 2/3 years ago has had a dramatic impact on a local Early Purple Orchid patch, probably 200/300 where there were 50 or less. Presumably impact of greater light.

Our Blue Mentor, Jenny visited 1st River Brownies, where she was interviewed about her role as a community organiser as part of the Brownies Job badge.

Early Purple Orchid this weekend at the edge of some English Bluebells in a small Kentish woodland. It was good to take a moment to walk alone here and reflect.

It was great to invite Marie from Kent Wildlife Trust to #Hersden today to inspect Pliers Wood as we've requested it be designated as a local wildlife site!

I'll continue to work with Kent Wildlife Trust and Hersden Parish Council to protect this beautiful woodland!
