Congratulations to our second Green Can Award winner of 2024: Recycle For KC NI!
The group recycle an average of 150 kg of aluminium cans each month and their incredible efforts have lead to almost £20,000 being donated to Kicks Count.

Very pleased to say we've raised a grand total of £1974 for Kicks Count via @TerraCycleUK in the last 6 months, purely from rubbish that would have otherwise gone to landfill 💚
Thank you to everyone involved, let's see what the next 6 months brings 🎉
It’s so important to get any reduced movements checked. Reduced movement at 37 weeks was placental failure for Oliver - he was out by emergency section within hours. I knew to get checked because of Kicks Count. I cannot believe this incorrect information is still being shared
Kerry white Well, that’s dangerous to put out there. Thank goodness for Kicks Count and to think recently they had a complete dip in funding, to the point they would have closed, where clearly their work is absolutely needed!
It is so important that we challenge this myth. Getting a change in our little boy’s movements at 39 weeks checked out at the Maternity Assessment Unit saved his life

Today is #RainbowBabyDay - we lost our little 🎃 after 7 weeks early 2012. One of the hardest things we went through as a couple.
We loved, we cried, we laughed, we supported each other - we got through the pain.
However our Rainbow Baby, Lucy - came on Christmas Day 2012 ❤️
Amy Elizabeth Tommy's Miscarriage Association Sands - baby loss charity 💙🧡 Kicks Count ForgetMeNotChildren midwife still visits Annie's headstone. means a lot to us. I fear she holds guilt because she might think she missed something.. I hope not. Ill always remember the nurse who looked after her crying in the hours after she passed. Really did hit home it wasn't just us struggling
Richard Thompson Tommy's Miscarriage Association Sands - baby loss charity 💙🧡 Kicks Count ForgetMeNotChildren That’s wonderful! All these charities are amazing and I totally understand where you are coming from in terms of being the man! I found men sometimes struggled more as they were seen as the ‘strong’ one because you’re men! This needs more awareness!
Amy Elizabeth Tommy's Miscarriage Association Sands - baby loss charity 💙🧡 Kicks Count As a man I felt awkward at the beginning feeling guilty that I outwardly needed more help than my wife after losing our girl. Talking to some of the attached and other places reassured me, and helped me to help my wife too. ForgetMeNotChildren also a great help to us and my eldest.
Found my old badges from my time as a Midwife. Perfect addition to the new work lanyard to continue showing my support for the charities that are very close to my heart from professional and personal experiences! 💕
