Materials testing in the LivingBodiesObjects lab yesterday. Take data from sleep: heart rate, skin and body temperature etc, convert it into patterned sine waves run through magnets and inscribe it into wax/oil/charcoal tiles. You get to touch sleep. Very cool.

Yesterday was a super first day working at Thackray Museum of Medicine as part of their just-started six-month residency on LivingBodiesObjects project. Already planning some creative use of their amazing collections and an exploratory road-trip to FACT_Liverpool Tate Liverpool and Museum of Liverpool.
