It's that time of year again. The The Fire Fighters Charity Car Wash Season is once again upon us here in the #Croydon Borough. First up is #PurleyFireStation . Put the 12th of May into your Diary. Drive to Purley and have your car washed by Operational Firefighters for a small donation.
Happy #InternationalWomensDay . This year we spoke to our π LFB Fire Cadets π about the history of women in the Brigade.
From corsets to driving in the Blitz and championing Black female firefighters - the cadets learnt about inspirational women who made the Brigade what it is today.
Today Andy Cooke has decided to remove London Fire Brigade from our enhanced level of monitoring, known as Engage, and return the service to routine monitoring.
