Today, I chaired a SYMPOSIUM on THERAPY FOR BURKITT LYMPHOMA in HIC AND LMICS SIOP International. Burkitts is a cancer first described in 1958 in Ugandan children. Today, 60 years later, cure rates in LMICS remains less than 50% whilst in HIC it’s over 90%.
