I’m very excited that FresnoState_WGSS will be offering a variety of exciting courses in the fall, including 118W Trans Studies and WGSS 105 Queer History of the United States!

This was such an organized, well-executed event that was the result of months of ongoing communication between the students, the president, and faculty advocates/advisors, such as one of my dept colleagues. The behind the scenes work was crucial.

I think an important factor to consider is that the students were not calling for the university to divest. There are nuances to the purposes of the protests.
