SciGlow Outback.eco ANU Media Long Term Ecology There are standing 'chimney' trees in the paddocks here from Ash Wednesday fires. If left then give stock rubbing posts & bats shelter to over winter.
Showed kids a colony tree & we counted 80 microbats in just one.
The trunks might look untidy but 1 bat eats a lot of mozzies.
