Today is the National Day of Mourning for Persons Killed or Injured in the Workplace. Earlier in the week, secondary students were encouraged to observe one minute of silence in recognition of those who have suffered an injury or lost their lives due to workplace accidents.

A march to honour Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women is planned for May 3 in Spirit Square at Douglas Park, hosted by our community partner, the Lower Fraser Valley Aboriginal Society. Wear red and join in solidarity to help raise awareness and end violence. #MySD35Community
