Did I mention how nice it is to not have a childish megalomaniac in charge of platform policies? Come on over. The grass truly is greener.

Reminder: If you're on Mastodon, put your handle in your Twitter bio so that tools like fedifinder can help folks find and follow you!

If you are running into this and have a reliable repro, the teams behind these features would LOVE to talk. Here's how to take traces, and also feel free to let me know below or via DM.

This is exciting! Done in collaboration with the Defender folks (yet benefiting all vendors), this release amps up PowerShell's AMSI implementation to include much more detail about methods and their arguments as they are being called!

Twitter won't actually go down in flames, but giving this a shot anyways.

I know it's edgy to bash on VPNs as snake oil when we have HTTPS, but it's surprising how often we get let down by mistakes and low-quality apps.

just made a 'decentralized' 'alternative' to twitter; everyone should go 'join' it

to make an account: fork github.com/diracdeltas/tw…
to tweet: git commit --allow-empty
to follow someone: git remote add <alias> <their fork url>
to retweet: git cherry-pick <their 'tweet'>

In most cultures, you are taught to deal with death by grieving and then trying to move on. I love that Día de los Muertos gives you a place every year to celebrate those from your past that are no longer with you. history.com/topics/hallowe…

Wow! Took a look at what Twitter thinks I'm interested in. Of my 472 'interests', only 101 actually interest me - and that's if I'm being generous. Far more (127) are things I actively dislike or avoid.

Isn't micro-targeting supposed to be the magic sauce of social media ads?

With infosec Twitter dying and Mastodon unlikely to takeoff, the only remaining option is for all of infosec Twitter to join Microsoft as full-time employees and talk in our security chat internal Teams channel.

Got spam listed like many others by an account called 'Twitter'. I was like: 'How bad are Twitter's fraud detection algorithms if they can't even detect that?'.

I will give them some slack - it's been obfuscated by soft (invisible) hyphens.
