Disgusting - renters must be given rights and protections against no-fault evictions. Homelessness presentations as a result of S21s are on the up, and the threat of losing their home with no recourse looms over tenants living in sub-par quality homes, paying extortionate rents.

Running the numbers on the abolition of the £90 fee for Debt Relief Orders. Budget papers say the cost is £5 million per year = 55,555 DROs. That's a 75% increase on the number of DROs in 2023. How will the extra demand be met by Approved Intermediaries (i.e., debt advisers)?

Right to Buy needs to be abolished.

A whopping 40 per cent of houses sold via Right to Buy are now in the hands of landlords - a factor in the housing crisis we see today.

This massive transference of wealth from the commonweal to private hands has been an unmitigated disaster.
