Fantastic news reported by The Guardian today that the the sponge on a string / capsule sponge / swallowable sponge is as effective as an endoscopy in identifying a precursor condition to oesophageal cancer, a Less Survivable Cancers Taskforce cancer.

We welcome this commitment to increasing research funding for cancers with the lowest survival rates. The Less Survivable Cancers Taskforce cancers have an average 5yr survival rate of just 16% - that's unacceptable. We'll be calling on other parties to make similar pledges & drive up survivalπ
