I've decided to take a voluntary buyout from KQED b/c I can no longer in good moral conscious continue to work for any media organization that doesn't call a genocide a genocide. This was not an easy decision. But I'm following my gut and my gut never fails me.

My beloved friend 🍉Prof. Thrasher wrote The Viral Underclass is among those being hounded by bully members of congress after standing in solidarity with students on campus, and with the people of Gaza. This is unacceptable.

There's also an interesting lesson in here about abolition. Many anti-mask laws were first passed supposedly to target the KKK. But criminalization doesn't uproot white supremacy AND it generally ends up being deployed against the most vulnerable. truthout.org/articles/anti-…
