9:05pm: 50 to 60 mph gusts along with large hail is still possible with this storm over east mesa. This storm is quickly moving east toward Apache Junction and the Superstitions. #12news

8:35pm: New severe cell over Paradise Valley and Arcadia moving east at 25mph. This storm is capable of producing 60mph gusts and penny size hail. Headed toward Scottsdale, Papago Park, Tempe and Mesa over the next 30 mins. #12news

Storm chances will stick around the Valley for another couple of hours. Heavy downpours and hail will be the primary threats. #12news
