20 y/ ago, Lithuania came back where it belonged—to the family of free European nations. FM Gabrielius Landsbergis🇱🇹 emphasises that #EU is still incomplete, and we must do everything we can to ensure that Ukraine, Moldova, Western Balkan countries, and Georgia join us as soon as possible.

#EU sanctions on Russia - new EU policy.

If we aim to 'punch' Russia real hard, AT LEAST we need:
- ban #LNG imports & 'shadow fleet'
- eliminate exemptions & derogations
- apply 'no Russia clause' fully
- delete 'non-liability clause' from EU regulations.

Twenty years ago joining the EU did not require facing police brutality, tear gas, loss of life or land. This is today's reality. But people's resolve to be a part of the European project just strengthens our resolve to reach out and help them. 🇪🇺

Frankly speaking, it so good to be in the EU family.🫶

- 39000 times denied customs procedures;
- developed 500 Risk Profiles,
- submitted 15000 Risk Information Forms to EU customs.

We gather today for one more High-Level #Sanctions Coordination meeting chaired by Commissioner Mairead McGuinness to prevent sanctions circumvention.

We equally need stop Russia gaining from our euros: #EU needs to sanction & ban imports of russian #LNG , helium & enriched uranium.

These hybrid attacks should not be ignored or tolerated.
