Can't wait for the Everything in Sport conference tomorrow! I will be sharing my story of developing an eating disorder as an athlete. Honoured to be a part of this innovative action packed two day conference Everything in Sport
ππ§ πππͺπ π¨ BarefootRebel Jordan Schueler, MS Kyle Christina Taylor Rebecca Quinlan Thank you all for your previous support with my research project. I'm doing a final push for participants - if you would consider RT'ing again that would be SO appreciated. Thank you so much! π
I did a presentation today to over 100 nursing students at the University of Leeds, & to receive feedback that it was incredibly inspiring & will influence the students practice for their whole career...it's just ππ₯° & exactly why I do what I do. #eatingdisorders #mentalhealth
I'm in the April edition of Women's Running magazine for an article about RED-S & eating disorders in sport.
#Eatingdisorders are over 3 times more prevalent in sport than the general population but it's very rarely spoken about. So I'm speaking about it & hope to raise awareness
Huge thankyou to Rebecca Quinlan for co facilitating the Peer Network space with me today . π #withoutstigma #peersupport #livedexperienceroles Central Peer Support Team
Thank you to Ed Sheeran for speaking out about his eating disorder. Hopefully it will help others open up about their struggles.

For #InternationalWomensDay my local general hospital was giving out panic alarms as a free gift to all women. I think this totally misses the point. Our gift for being a woman is that we have to protect ourselves for men?!

So much of #EatingDisordersAwarenessWeek focuses on the negatives of what people don't know, lack of services etc. But there are good people out there working in #eatingdisorders & doing their best to help. From nurses to HCAs, dieticians, OTs - thankyou for all you do! #EDAW2023
