The NWS has issued a FLASH FLOOD WARNING in Kanawha County’s until 11:30PM. Do not drive through high water. Remember TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN.

⚠ Metro is receiving reports of multiple flooded roadways county wide. If you do not need to be on the roads, please avoid them. If you see water in the roadway, turn around, don’t drown.

⚠ The National Weather Service has issued a TORNADO WATCH for Kanawha County until 9:00 p.m. Please tune into news stations, radio stations, or social media for further information.

This map shows the tornado and wind damage locations that we've found so far from April 2nd -- it's a lot! While tornadoes get all of the attention, many locations identified as having straight-line wind damage have damage that is just as extreme as that found in the tornadoes.
