Today is #BiodiversityDay - a theme being hailed as crucial to #COP27 's success, in what could be the world’s “Paris moment” for nature.

Biodiversity and the prevention of nature loss have long been priorities for Low Carbon, as both are inextricably linked to climate change.

This year's #EnergyDay at #COP27 takes on a different dimension, taking place against the backdrop of the global energy crisis.

The environmental and financial case for renewable energy has never been stronger, & is why we've committed to expanding our pipeline to 20GW by 2030.

On #DecarbonizationDay , we recognise the importance of the energy transition.
Electricity production currently accounts for 25% of all GHG emissions.
It is vital that we transition away from fossil fuels to clean, renewable sources of energy to reduce this.

Today is #FinanceDay at #COP27 , a theme expected to rank highly on this year's agenda.
At present, 82% of climate finance comes from the public sector. However, a new UN study found that the private sector could finance 70%.
