The “Tree of Change” was revealed this morning to BGISD Teranga Academy. The mural was made by Teranga Junior High students in Erika Walker’s art class using over 1,200 bottle caps. The tree represents Teranga: strong, resilient, beautiful, and unique.

Moving on up! Each semester, BGISD Teranga Academy students have the opportunity to “level up.” Today, we celebrate 62 students completing 1 of 3 levels in reading, math, or both, and Denis, successfully completing Teranga Academy.

Denis will begin full-time at BGHS in January.
