It's official! The DiadSea project has started!

With a duration of three years, DiadSea addresses the challenges faced by diadromous fish, promoting sustainability in the marine world and for local communities.

Last Wednesday I had the chance to talk about 🇵🇹 freshwater fishes and non-natives at an elementary school. It was sooooo cool and rewarding! Looking forward to do it more often under #lifepredator and talk about #silurusglanis invasion in the Tagus river MARE

🌲🌿 Our researcher Ricardo M. Nogueira Mendes will be present at the Forum commemorating the 45th anniversary of the Serras de Aire e Candeeiros Natural Park, to talk about management and monitoring of tourist and recreational uses of protected and classified areas.

Yesterday, our research team embarked on an unexpected fieldwork day after hearing about orca sightings!

They were able to see a group of 6 individuals: 2 males, 3 females and 1 baby!
