Last night we kicked off this year's Unblocking Potential Programme with a new group of residents!

Following completion of the programme, the group will then have the opportunity to go on and complete their Community Development degree in September.

I am very proud of the work we do with Queen's Communities and Place (QCAP) in partnership Market Development Association which alongside our partnership project with Shankill Zone demonstrates our commitment to being a civic University that delivers real results.

This is a huge issue that is surrounded by too much silence - truly inspirational to see people in the community stepping up to highlight the issue and commit to solutions.

The Market community came together last night for the ‘The Market: A People’s Tapestry’, photographic exhibition that explores community life, connections, challenges and hopes. I’m proud to come from this great working class community 🙌🏼
