Today, Governor Mike Parson signed HB 2116 into law, establishing the No Patient Left Alone Act.

No one should ever be denied the choice to have loved ones or caregivers present while in the hospital or a long-term care facility.

Under the new law, health care facilities — which include hospitals, nursing homes and hospice facilities — must permit at least two visitors to be able to see a patient in-person during visiting hours. #moleg #mogov via Tessa Weinberg
