Historical Day 4 State building and Constitutional Review Process.

ICRIC Chair Burhan Adan Omar delivered a heartfelt speech on adoption of constitutional amendments, thanking MPs/senators 4 adoption.The historic session saw the adoption of 212 MPs and 42 senators. He appreciated the ICRIC,OC & citizens/institutions 4 participation in consultation

H.E Minister Hassan Moallin commends the 11th Parliament's dedication to democratic principles, celebrating the passage of pivotal constitutional amendments adopted in today’s historic joint session of the Federal Parliament.

Today marks a historic day at the Parliament as they approve the initial four chapters of the constitution. However, notable exceptions include provisions concerning the right to life (under Article 13), freedom of religion (under Arti.16), and the age of maturity (under Art.28).

The @OC_constitution will now fulfill its responsibilities to prepare the version for the third stage of voting and approval of the proposed constitutional amendments.
