HOWEVER, what upset me were the *multiple* conversations I had with medical students & postgrad Drs who described the challenges they face in training because of #systemic #racism in #medical #education . 1🪡

Fantastic day at Midlands Racial Equality in Medicine Network conference on Saturday. It was great to see so many Keele Medical School staff and students presenting their research and initiatives to improve race equality in medicine. I came away energised by all the amazing work being done across the midlands.
