This week, I had the opportunity to meet again with Valery Kavaleuski, the Deputy Head and Representative for Foreign Affairs of the United Transitional Cabinet of Belarus. We had a fruitful discussion about his country's continued efforts to build a democratic 🇧🇾.

We mourn the tragic death of Gretta Fenner, Managing Director of the Basel Institute on Governance, who has been a wonderful friend and partner of the MSC. We are grateful to have witnessed her dedication to the fight against corruption just a few weeks ago at #MSC2024 .

Running in the rain: great to be back in New York's Central Park with the former colleagues, the PRunners, the UN Permanent Representatives from Canada, Iceland, Montenegro, and Romania.

Joe Lieberman was not only a great transatlanticist and member of the “American Friends of the MSC”. He was a real friend of our organization, always making sure to come to Munich. I’m glad he could make it one last time this year. We will miss him dearly.
