Tragically, multiple casualties have been reported and the first thoughts of all Australians are with those affected and their loved ones.

New South Wales Police Commissioner Karen Webb says police do not believe the 40-year-old attacker responsible for the Bondi Junction shopping centre killings held terrorist motivations or ideology. He was known to the police.
