“Solid” treatment by Air Canada in the Toronto airport. I asked if the passes I have with my credit card would work for the international lounge. I was told to read and answer a skill testing question based on what was on my AC app. AC, we’re not happy until you’re not happy.

Two years in a row TD Insurance cancelled my insurance. Last year their auto renew didn’t use the card on file. This year they renewed it, the money came out, and it’s still cancelled because of an additional charge that they didn’t charge. Maybe it’s time to leave TD (Canada).

Walking through the Toronto airport, and I notice that all the holiday chocolate Santa’s, and chocolate tree decorations are out. It always makes me sad that a chocolate dreidel (or equivalent, or anything for other religions) isn’t available. I’ve emailed and gotten no response.

The 2024 Award for Graduate Work in Inorganic Chemistry (AGWIC) and the 2024 Award for Undergraduate Research in Inorganic Chemistry (AURIC) are due Dec 5th.  These awards recognize excellence in inorganic chemistry research at the graduate and undergraduate levels, respectively.
