It’s official!- We’re OUTSTANDING!

68 children, Hackney Council, Butterfly Conservation 🦋, a park user group, and school gardener came to sow a meadow besides a cycle highway. The 500m long meadow strip is a keystone of the Hackney Buzzline - a 4 km pollinator corridor linking four parks through three housing estates.

Head gardener Daven Hastings created a 500m meadow strip on Millfields park for the #hackneybuzzline . He brought in 68 children from nearby Mandeville School school and Forest Grove school to help create habitat for pollinators so they can say: 'Hey, I did that!'' Hackney Council
